I thought the hats were a nice idea. My problem in my home was trying to decorate a girls bedroom when 2 of my daughters were sharing a bedroom. Both had their own ideas of what the room should look like. One way I got around this was to buy a room dividing screen and seperated the two beds. I then let my daughters choose an area rug for in front of their beds. This allowed them to feel that each side was their own private space that they decorated.
