*Sigh* To be pampered.

For the first time in a really long time, I went and got my hair cut and colored.  My mother paid for me and my sisters to get all of our hair done and it was sooooo wonderful.  I just couldn't believe the service there.  Everyone was so incredibly nice and professional.  And my hair turned out perfect.  I couldn't have asked for better.  I didn't even know that there were salons like that where I lived.  This is such a random entry, but I just had to share.  I mean, I'm sure all women could relate.  Its just so relaxing to just take time out of our busy lives and get our hair, or nails, or whatever done.  Just to pamper ourselves once in awhile even if its only an hour.  We just don't do it enough.  Not that men aren't busy too.  But us women just have a tendency to focus on everyone else in our lives and forget about ourselves, which is crazy.  Because if we don't take care of ourselves, how can we really take care of others.  Every now and then I just have to take a second and ask myself, what would I do for my son, or my fiance?  And if I'm not doing those things for myself, then I have to ask myself, "Well, aren't I just as important as them?" And of course the answer is yes.  So then I do it.  Whatever it may be.

Hope this entry prompts some women to go relax or do something for themselves!  Because it is soooooooooooo worth it!

Yes. You did really make me want to get my hair cut. It's been ummmmmm almost six months. And there's nothing like the feeling when you walk out of there...it's a feeling that lasts for weeks: a freshness.
