I love to scour the Internet and tabloids for entertainment news on a daily basis. It is part of my job, but it is more like my job grew out of my love for pop culture and entertainment. But, I realize some people cannot spend the time to look for the latest news items. So I have comprised what I think are the 10 juiciest news items of this week. Let me know if you think I left anything out!
10. Janet Jackson Nude on the Cover of VIBE Magazine
I am really glad that Janet has lost so much weight, but appearing nude on the cover of a magazine? You would have thought she would have learned to keep her clothes on after the Super Bowl scandal!
9. American Idol Auditions Heat Up
It seems there are thousands of hopefuls flocking to these auditions as the American Idol machine just keeps getting stronger and stronger. If you couldn’t make it to LA, try the San Antonio tryouts at the Alamodome this Friday.
8. Kid Rock and Pam Anderson Marry
Is there already a little pebble on the way? When asked if she was planning to have a baby, Pam replied, “There might be one in there now.”
7. Paul Locks Heather Out
Oh my, things are getting nasty. Paul McCartney has reportedly changed the locks on their home and now Heather cannot get in. The gloves are coming off now folks!
6. Baby Suri
Now Penelope Cruz, Tom’s ex, is saying she’s seen Suri. Everyone’s apparently seen her but us. This kid is more elusive than Bigfoot, UFOs, and the Loch Ness Monster combined.
5. Dixie Chicks Cancel Concert Dates
Due to poor ticket sales, the Dixie Chicks have cancelled concert dates, but promise to add more. You gotta give them credit for trying.
4. ‘Lost’ Star Naveen Seen Kissing A Girl…
which might not be a problem only it wasn’t his longtime girlfriend Barbara Hershey. She forgave Naveen for the out of wedlock baby he produced while they were on a break. Will she forgive him for this?
3. Britney’s New Video
Take a look at the Britney video on TMZ. Filmed by Kevin (What was he thinking? Oh yeah, money), Britney is looking like she is either drunk or under the influence of drugs in this video. Nice career move Kid.
2. Daniel Baldwin Lands on the Sopranos
Well, not literally, but he will be playing himself in the final eight episodes of the show. I am guessing by playing himself, he will playing an overweight, angry, cocaine addict? Daniel should be in rehab and not on television.
1. Ellen Burstyn Emmy Controversy
The Television Academy is in trouble. Apparently they nominated Ellen for her work in the HBO movie “Mrs. Harris.” Only problem was she was only on screen for 14 seconds. 14 seconds? I could have gone to get a drink and missed that award worthy scene!
