As an Anglophile of French descent, I can’t think of a better family vacation than this one!
Once you pick up your luggage and pass through customs in London, an Adventures by Disney representative will meet you and direct you to transportation to the Renaissance Chancery Court London. Your Guides will handle your hotel check in so you can start relaxing right away. You’ll meet up with your fellow adventurers at a cocktail reception and British feast that evening.
Day two will see you boarding a double decker bus for a grand tour of London including Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards. For lunch you’ll enjoy a proper British tea (don’t worry, it will be a full meal). You’ll have dinner before going to London’s theater district and seeing the Disney theatrical production of The Lion King.
Your third day will take you to the Tower of London for a tour of this historic fortress. Lunch is on your own as well as the rest of the afternoon and evening, giving you plenty of time to explore London on your own.
Day four will begin with a walk in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, the most legendary public square in London but will soon have you boarding the Eurostar for a first-class train ride from London to Paris. Your guides will check you in to the Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris and then tale you on a walking tour of Paris before your welcome dinner.
Day five of your adventure begins with a tour of Nôtre Dame Cathedral and stops for lunch at Eiffel Tower. The afternoon and evening are then free for you and your family to explore Paris on your own.
Day six begins with an early walk in Paris with your Adventure Guide. Then you’ll visit the Louvre where adults will enjoy a guided tour while Junior Adventurers will play art detective on an interactive scavenger hunt through the museum. Lunch is on your own and the afternoon and evening are free for you to explore and enjoy Paris as you like.
On Day seven, you’ll travel to Versailles and see how Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette lived. You’ll then have lunch at La Flotille before setting off on a bike ride around Versailles. Later you’ll enjoy a special farewell dinner with surprise entertainment.
On the eighth day, you’ll have breakfast at the hotel before boarding pre-arranged transportation to the airport.
If you choose to continue your adventure, you can make arrangements to continue on to Disneyland Resort Paris. (Not included in trip price.)
Pricing for this adventure ranges from $2,879 to $3,999 for adults and is less for children.
