Everyone loves amusement parks. Sometimes it’s the rides, sometimes it’s just the smiles on the children’s faces that make some people happy, and for some still, it’s the fun amusement park cuisine!
When was the last time you visited an amusement park, carnival or fair? When you step onto the grounds of an amusement park, you are often taken back to a time when life seemed simpler, and everything was fun. Riding the rides, seeing all the cartoon characters walking around, standing in lines with other anxious riders, eating cotton candy or sipping a iced lemonade. All these things are reminiscent of days of fun!
Create a scrapbook layout about the amusement parks that you’ve visited. Which ones have you traveled to? Were they worth the travel? Where is the closest one to your house? Do you go often? Do you have a Season Pass?
Think about all the terrific rides. What are your favorite rides to ride one? Are you deathly afraid of heights? Are there any rides that you simply won’t ride?
What is it about the rides you love, that make them attractive to you? Are they short rides? Long rides? Are there always long lines of people to wait until you get there? Are you often left riding it alone because others don’t like it as much?
Journal these thoughts. Tell all about your favorite things about an amusement park. Describe your favorite park, and why it’s your favorite. Then describe your very favorite ride, and why it is.
And hey, if you don’t have any photographs, either do a search online or plan a day trip to an amusement park near you. Then you can enjoy the park and the rides and have fun while getting the pictures for a layout!
