Another KFC Celebrity Hook Up

The PR people at Kentucky Fried Chicken must be working overtime. Either that or they have someone on their payroll that spends a ton of time perusing tabloids.

Just a few months after offering to throw an all-you-can-eat housewarming party for “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad the folks at KFC are at it again. This time, though the finger lickin’ good company is targeting singers Rihanna and Chris Brown. The young hit makers were just offered a free meal from KFC after they were inadvertently snapped by the paparazzi kissing and hugging at one of its Florida restaurants.

Since the photo ran the couple has been dogged more than ever (likely because they refuse to admit that they are more than “just friends” despite being snapped locking lips in Miami) and KFC execs are among those trying to get the musicians’ attention.

According to New York gossip column PageSix, KFC execs just sent Rihanna a letter offering the couple a free meal.

It reads: “Clearly, like our founder Colonel Sanders, you two know how to kick it up a few degrees. We could feel the heat – literally – in our restaurant that night. So much so that we’d like to invite you and Chris back to any KFC for a free meal.”

Oh gag me…

But the letter doesn’t stop there. In the last paragraph KFC execs promise the couple if they repeat their display of affection in one of their restaurants again the company will make a donation to their favorite children’s charity, Believe.

Honestly, if I were Rihanna or Brown I would stay as far away from KFC as possible. I’m all for mega-companies like KFC donating to charities, but who wants to be eating chicken and mashed potatoes in a restaurant with small children and have to look up and see a 20-year-old woman and a 18-year-old guy licking each others’ faces rather than their own fingers?
