Asian Purses
Another restaurant favorite that after you make it at home once, you’ll wonder why they charge so much at the restaurant!
INGREDIENTS:
2 boxes won ton wraps
16 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1/2 cup plum sauce, divided
2 quarts vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS:
1. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature then beat with hand held mixer until light and creamy.
2. Add 1/4 cup plum sauce, pinch of salt and a couple grinds of pepper and mix well.
3 Place 1 teaspoon mixture in middle of wonton wrapper. Brush area to seal with water and pinch closed to form a “purse.”
4. Heat oil to 350 and deep fry wontons until they are golden brown. Drain cooked won tons on paper towels.
5. Serve with remaining plum sauce on the side.

Cook: 15 minutes
