Bacon Wrapped Scallops

INGREDIENTS:
24 large sea scallops
12 slice bacon
1 pinch salt
1 pinch seasoned pepper
4 wedges lemon

DIRECTIONS:
1. Rinse scallops with running cold water to remove sand from crevices. Pat dry. Preheat broiler.
2. Cut each bacon slice crosswise in half, wrap each half around a scallop. Secure with toothpick.
3. Sprinkle lightly with salt and seasoned pepper.
4. Broil 8-10 mins, turning frequently so bacon will brown evenly, until scallops turn opaque through.
5. Remove toothpicks. Arrange on platter, garnish with lemon wedges
