Beer Biscuits

Beer Biscuits
Serve these alongside a steak dinner and make your spouse very happy!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups unbleached flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup beer

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 450F. Sift dry ingredients together.
2. Cut in shortening with a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture reaches the consistenty of cornmeal.
3. Stir in beer. Knead dough lightly, then roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch.
4. Cut out biscuits and bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Serves: 6
