Bill Phillips’ Transformation Station

I recently discovered the joys of podcasts. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard the word “podcast”. You may not have had the time to look into podcasts and what they can bring into your life though. (Like television, podcasts can add to your life or waste your time, depending upon which ones you listen to.)

Taking the Body for Life Challenge is good for me, but it isn’t easy. One thing that is really helping me stay motivated is Bill Phillips’ Transformation Talk, a weekly radio show aired on Sirius Satellite Radio. If you don’t subscribe to Sirius, you can still hear the broadcast anytime you like by subscribing to the podcast of the show. It is absolutely free and yet its value in motivation and assistance with your mental, spiritual and physical transformation is priceless.

Like most people, I have very little time during the week and find that I need to take at least one day on the weekend to just relax, enjoy my family and recharge my batteries. This day is usually the one that I allow myself an hour to just listen to Bill’s podcast. This helped me a lot in Week #1, but I didn’t take the time during Week #2 and fell off the wagon for lack of motivation.

So here I am at the end of Week #2. I’m not giving up. I’m still down four pounds from my starting weight. It isn’t exciting or dramatic, but I know it is important to focus on the fact that I am better today than I was when I started – not the fact that I blew Week #2. Week #3 is a fresh start and, thanks to Transformation Talk, I’m feeling positive and empowered instead of down on myself.

If you’ve decided to take the challenge, take some time for yourself and let Bill Phillips have an hour to inspire and motivate you. It is well worth the time!
