And, I can only imagine what a tale it is! Singer bad boy Bobby Brown, formerly Mr. Whitney Houston, has decided to write a tell-all book about he and Whitney’s rocky marriage. Titled “The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth,” Bobby makes such claims as the fact that he never used cocaine until after her met Whitney. He goes on to say marijuana was his drug of choice, but after marrying Whitney in 1992, he did every drug he could get his hands on, including heroin and cocaine.
Bobby says in the book that the couple’s marriage was doomed from the get go. He says they married for all the wrong reasons (wow, bet his daughter will be glad to read that in black and white!). He said Whitney had a different “agenda” than he did, saying her agenda was to clean up her image. BY MARRYING BOBBY BROWN? Sorry, that just sounds so ridiculous to me. If I remember correctly, Whitney had a stellar image when she married Bobby while it was his image that has always been a bit questionable.
Bobby claims part of the stress on the couple’s marriage was infidelity, saying women always threw themselves at him and he was “only human.” In case you are keeping score, Bobby has four children (two boys and two girls) with three different women. In this new book, Bobby claims to have also dated Janet Jackson and Madonna before marrying Whitney.
Bobby and Whitney finally split in September 2006, but she is not letting him get her down with this new bio. Whitney’s representative told People magazine “Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it’s to set the record straight.”
Well, at least someone is taking the high road!
