Burning Up the Calories with Boot Camp Fitness

If you think that you need to spend mega bucks getting in shape with a fancy gym membership, think again. A gym membership is a great luxury with all those great machines at your fingertips, but most of us do not have the extra dollars that it takes to maintain a gym membership.

A fantastic way to burn up those calories in a hurry is simple, yet effective. Boot camp fitness. Boot camp fitness is just what it says. These are the exercises that have been used for years that give us the results that we want without spending a dime.

For a revelation try doing these simple, boot camp exercises out in nature. Your own backyard will suffice and all you need to do is open the backdoor and step out into the sunshine and fresh air.

Basically, all you need is yourself to accomplish what you are trying to do. Some back to basics moves to help tone, firm and accelerate your calories usage are squats for the buttocks, pushups for your arms and chest and sit-ups for a nice flat tummy. Jogging in place and jumping rope will also speed up the process.

This circuit training form of exercising is done one right on top of the other double time. That is right, two sets of each with no breaks in between them. You just move right along onto the next exercise.

Movements should not be rushed, but done with good form and fluid-like, as well as very controlled and steady. Push yourself to do as many as you can comfortably.

When you feel good about the repetitions that you are doing, up the number by three until those become comfortable and so on.

This form of exercise can burn approximately 500 calories at one time. You will be in shape before you can say, “Sir, yes sir!”.
