From artists and athletes to royalty and historical figures, this collection of celebrity family trees is full of interesting folks. The first celebrity family tree that I chose to look at is that of Donald Trump. I am a big fan of “The Donald”, and I was curious to see what his family tree looks like and where the “success genes” may have come from. While I did not find any get-rich-in-real estate secrets, I did learn some things that I did not know, such as the fact that Donald Trump’s father was also a successful real estate investor and Donald learned the trade from him.
Since I love chocolate, I also decided to take a look at the Cadbury family tree. The Cadbury chocolate empire started with a one-man grocery business and expanded after the grocer’s “drinking chocolate” became so popular that he decided to team up with his brother and begin making eating chocolate too. The Cadburys even made chocolates for Queen Victoria. I checked the family tree, and I could not find the Cadbury Bunny, nor does it appear that any members of the Cadbury family were hatched from creme-filled eggs.
I could have checked out celebrity family trees all night, but it was getting late so I decided to look at just one more. I wanted to see whether there was anything strange in Stephen King’s family tree that could have inspired any of his genius works of horror. There does not seem to be anything out of the ordinary, but that just proves that you don’t need ghosts in your family tree to be able to write stories that leave readers feeling totally creeped out. Have you checked out Genealogy.com to see whether you favorite celebrities’ family trees are available online?
