It may have appeared to be a shotgun wedding, but “Private Practice” star Kate Walsh says her quickie nuptials weren’t due to her being due… with a baby.
Rumors of the actress’ pregnancy surfaced last week when paparazzi shot photos of Walsh’s new husband (movie exec Alex Young) kissing her stomach.
You’ll recall the newlyweds tied the knot on two weeks ago after a six-month courtship. It wasn’t exactly a lengthy romance, but rest assured the 39-year-old former “Grey’s Anatomy” star says she is not with child.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we had a family, but we’re not obsessed with it,” Walsh told reporters yesterday. “ Initially everybody was like, ‘Are you having a quick wedding because she’s pregnant?’ I was like, ‘No, I’m just out of shape.’”
In a less than humorous false pregnancy report, the New York Post is reporting that despite announcements to the contrary earlier this summer 27-year-old rapper Foxy Brown is NOT pregnant.
Despite telling a judge presiding over her probation hearing that she was expecting a child, it turns out that the entertainer is not pregnant after all.
According to her manager:
“And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official statement: She is not pregnant.”
For those of you who haven’t been following this twisted tale, last week, Brown was sentenced to a year in jail for violating her parole. Upon arriving at the jailhouse, which had a special ward for pregnant inmates, Brown confessed to officials that she was not, in fact, pregnant.
