2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups warm milk
8-ounce jar dried beef
Dash of cayenne pepper
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour to form a smooth paste. Whisk in milk, a little at a time, increase heat to medium-high. Cook while stirring until thickened. Bring to a boil and then stir in beef and cayenne pepper, heating through. When hot, serve over toast.
