Chocolate Covered Almonds: A miracle of taste and health!

When I get on a kick I keep kicking. Currently I am on an almond kick. After reading about all the health benefits of almonds I am determined to find almond alternatives to my snacking and meals. I have spoken many times about my love for snacking and my quest to find healthy tasty snacks. I have found quite a few and now to add to my list is Blue Diamond Chocolate Covered Almonds.

Why Almonds?

Almonds are very healthy for you containing rich sources of:

*vitamin E

*calcium

*iron

*magnesium

In addition almonds contain zinc, niacin, copper, and selenium. No other nut can compare! It is amazing to see such a perfect combination in such a tiny package.

The nutrients on the top of my list to add into my diet were iron and calcium. Iron and calcium are two nutrients that women need to be concerned with consuming in the proper amounts. With almonds you have it covered and so much more!

Why Chocolate?

Why not? Chocolate is awesome. The combination of chocolate and almonds is divine and banishes your sweet tooth to the dungeon so you can rule your own body and snacking choices.

Besides, chocolate does have health benefits with mood enhancement, energy, and blood pressure support just to name a few.

Why Blue Diamond Chocolate Covered Almonds?

Blue Diamond carries simple quality products. They focus on almonds and therefore know almonds best. I have been eating Blue Diamond for years. They carry almonds in a variety of flavors but I only recently tried the chocolate covered ones. While, they would not recommend this I think I ate them all in a two days. I could have finished it in one day but showed a bit of restrain. Please follow the serving size to get the best benefits from snacking wisely and healthfully. I also found a lack of retrain the last time I had a jar of oven roasted butter toffee almonds and the oven roasted dark chocolate….perhaps I need to learn a bit of self control.
