Cinderella’s Royal Table

Character meals are a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a sit-down meal while at the same time that they enjoy the wonder of Disney Magic. Cinderella’s Royal Table is not only one of the hardest tickets to score, it is also one of the best character meals available during your Disney stay. Cinderella’s Royal Table is a breakfast that features Cinderella and multiple other Disney princesses where girls and boys alike can eat like princes and princesses.

Advanced Reservations

You need to book your reservations well ahead of time. And when I say well ahead of time, I mean start calling right on the 90 days ahead of time that you have to. Why such a requirement to get seats at this character meal? Simply put, Cinderella’s Royal Table may be the most popular, but it’s also the smallest dining area for a character meal in the Disney World area.

The royal table is located in Cinderella’s Castle in the center of the Magic Kingdom. There are accommodations for just 130 diners. In order to book your reservation ahead of time, you need to call 407-WDW-DINE. You want to make this phone call at exactly 7 a.m. on the day that is 90 days before the day you want to eat there. You may think that’s extreme, but trust me, an hour later and there won’t be any reservations at that breakfast available.

According to Disney statistics there are about 100 reservation agents working at any given time so the first people to make the cut through on the phone lines likely get their reservations and then whoosh, you’re done for the day and have to start making the calls the next day. So, here is what you do, let’s say you’re planning your vacation for the first week in October and you want to have your breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table on October 3rd, then you need to literally count 90 days back from that date. Don’t just assume that you can call on July 3rd. 90 days before October 3rd is July 5th. And their computer program is that exact.

During our last trip to Disney World another vacationer described the process to us. Not only did she count back exactly 90 days, she made sure her clocks were ser to the www.atomictime.net in order to get the exact time to the second that 7 a.m. EST will be. If you want to go that extra mile (and this boggled my mind when she told me about it) call a few days ahead of time and write down the order of the prompts you’ll need to choose so you don’t waste any time on them.

Have you ever dined at Cinderella’s Royal Table?
