What did I think of Circle C?
I love the wholesome and safe content of the books. The quality of writing is superb. I am always disappointed when I find a series for my children and the writing is filled with grammatical errors or lacks in description and feeling. I was not disappointed with Circle C Beginnings. I enjoyed the books as much as my daughter.
What did my daughter think?
My 6 year old begged me at bedtime to read one more chapter. She was so curious to learn about Andi and what would happen next. I enjoyed reading the books to her and having her read back to me. It was encouraging to my struggling reader to read out of a “real” book. Since she enjoyed the books so much she tried her best to read all she could. Her favorite is Andi’s Fair Surprise.
I have to be honest; I did not think my 6 year old would like these books. I knew I would appreciate the wholesomeness and sweet stories. I worried my Barbie loving girl would be bored. She was not. She loved every page. I am grateful. Grateful for books I am proud to share and for my daughter enjoying the innocence of Andi and Taffy.
