Did you know that it is Whirlpool’s “Kitchen Clean Up Month?” Apparently it is the third annual one but since I’ve never heard of it, it’s news to me! An entire month to clean the kitchen, the only thing better would be if they sent someone to do it for me.
The idea behind this is that since the kitchen is the busiest and messiest room in the house, we need to take the time to clean and organize it. The kitchen really does take most of the abuse in your home and most of us use it for just about everything, not just cooking. I know that most craft projects spend at least a little bit of time in my kitchen.
Whirlpool is focusing on tackling one major appliance per week with the help of their experts. To get you started on the right foot with your spring cleaning, the experts will give you simple guidelines, advice and useful fixes to change your kitchen this month.

I like the thought of a whole week to clean my microwave, I’m pretty sure I’ll get to sneak in a lot of reading that week!
The opportunity to win new appliances is really what got my attention. Maybe I’ll even offer a timesaving tip or two of my own to see if I can increase the odds of winning. I desperately need a new microwave, I think mine is from the 90’s and takes almost as long as baking things in the oven!
