Fabulous Snacks!

Are you planning a party and need some fabulous snack ideas? These will work for any party from the World Series to a movie night at your house with friends!

Spicy Popcorn

Give you popcorn a little kick with this recipe. You will need vegetable oil, popping corn, unsalted butter, grated Parmesan, and black pepper.

In a large pot, pour 1/2 cup of popping corn. Pour enough vegetable oil to cover the corn. Put on the lid and turn the burner on high. Cook until you hear the first pop. Take the pot off the burner and let it sit for one minute. Return it to the burner and shake the pan. Keep shaking until the kernel popping begins to stop. Put the popcorn in a large bowl with a lid. Add in 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Put on the lid and toss well until the popcorn is coated.

Fudge Pops

That’s right, create your own fudge pops with this great recipe. You will need milk, chocolate milk powder, malted milk powder, and light corn syrup. You will also need a Popsicle mold.

In a blender, combine 3 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of chocolate milk powder, 2 tablespoons of malted milk powder, and 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup. Once it is blended well, pour into the Popsicle mold and let it freeze.

Veggie Sticks and Cheddar Ranch Dip

Almost every party seems to be required to serve this yummy staple. You will need sour cream, cheese dip (such as Tostitos Salsa con Queso), one envelope of ranch dressing mix, and precut carrots and celery sticks (you can also use broccoli and cauliflower).

In a large bowl, mix one cup of sour cream, one cup of the cheese dip, and the envelope of ranch dressing. Place the dip in a small serving bowl and place it on a large platter. Wash your veggies and place them around the dip.
