My Personal Friendship album is finally in full swing. I’m on a roll and ready to finish this up! My friend will visit soon and she will enjoy reading what I’ve said about her friendship and looking at all the great photos.
When I finally began working on the first page in my childhood friends section, I found it to be the most difficult to come up with. I had a vision in my mind of what I wanted it to look like, but when I tried to create it, I had some trouble. So I took an extra day before adhering everything to it’s place to be certain it was what I wanted.
I followed my original sketch as much as I could, but just as I had suspected, it was mostly just a template to get started. You can see the changes I made, although they are subtle and worked for this page. Each page has been different in regards to layout design.

I followed the color scheme I chose, and added minimal embellishments to focus the attention on the photos and journaling. I was able to fit more journaling on the page because of the larger album.
As I continue to finish the pages, I can see what a different the size of the album has made. As well as having a master plan to follow.
Because I actually have more photos to include for each friend, I plan to have some as 4 page spreads instead of the average 2 page spread. This has allowed me to add quotes and poems about friendship to the additional pages, allowing for a more personal look at friendship.
