Game Stop Has Deals on Video Games and More

Halo Reach I am a big fan of video games! I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for several years now, and do occasionally take the time to play some other video games on our Xbox 360 with my husband. Right now, GameStop has several sales and deals on video games, and more!

GameStop sells new and used video games for PC, Mac, and many different kinds of video game systems, (including Xbox 360, Xbox, Sony PSP, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, Game Cube, Nintendo DS, and more). You can trade in the video games you are tired of playing, and get store credit. The prices on pre-owned games are lower than the prices on new copies of the same games, which means you can save a bit of money on those titles.

Right now, if you buy one pre-owned Xbox game, you can get two more of them for free. Check their website to see what titles are currently available. Or, you can browse through their selection at the GameStop nearest you. Inventory will be different at each location.

They sometimes have special Trade-In Offers, when they are seeking certain video games. Save $40 on Metroid: Other M or on Halo Reach when you bring in any two games that are on a list of selected games. The games you trade in can be for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii. A full list of acceptable trades can be viewed on the GameStop website. The games you trade in must work. You can’t combine this offer with any other deal, and it is up to a store manager if your trades will be accepted. This deal started on August 8, 2010, and will end on September 5, 2010.

They also have a Tiered Trade Offer going on. Get 10% extra in-store credit when you trade in any game, 20% extra when you trade three games, or 30% when you trade in five or more games. The Power Trade Deal works like this: you can get 25% extra trade-in-credit on any games that are traded in towards a new copy of Dead Rising 2, Halo Reach, or Metroid: Other M. Or, get an extra $20.00 in trade-in-credit when you bring in your DS or PSP. Each of these deals started August 8, 2010, and will end on September 5, 2010.

You can find games for under $20.00 every day, for a variety of video game systems. The website offers a daily deal that you can take advantage of as well. When you make your first purchase through the GameStop website, you can get their newsletter automatically sent to your email address, to keep you informed about new sales and deals.

Parents may want to review these games before buying them for their children. Some may be violent, and many are not designed for young children. There is a rating system on many of these games that can help you figure out what games might be appropriate for your children.
