You should check out Elsie Flannigan’s work which can be found in Creating Keepsakes Magazine, KI Memories design team layouts, her new book: 52 Scrapbooking Challenges and the Two Peas in a Bucket Gallery.
Elsie is a 23-year old scrapbook artist who really has a talent for designing beautiful layouts. If you would like to get to know her a little better, you can check out her blog titled “A Beautiful Mess.” She shares things about what are going on in both her personal and professional life. In a recent blog she announced that she is partnering with an unnamed company to come out with a new line of products that will debut this October at Memory Trends. I’m sure that she will come up with some very creative and fun products.
She has also been interviewed on Diva Craft Lounge. This is an online radio interview talk show that you can download to your computer or mp3 player. I like to listen to these Diva shows sometimes while I’m scrapbooking. It’s fun to hear Elsie talk and share her thoughts on scrapbooking.
Elsie has also just released a very popular new book titled 52 Scrapbooking Challenges. I have just ordered it, but took me a while to find an online store that had it in stock. I will write a review of the book once I receive it. Some friends have this book and absolutely love it. Each challenge has examples that Elsie and others have used to create layouts based on each challenge. Some of the challenges include doodling on you photos, using white cardstock as a base or scrapbook about a life long love.
