Holiday Scrapbooking Gift Guide – part one

With the holiday season upon us, it is time to start thinking about a gift for your favorite scrapbooker. I’ve gone through my favorite products to create the following list of gifts that I’m sure that any scrapbooker would appreciate.

Time to scrap. (FREE!) This could be the best gift of all. Arrange for babysitting, a place to scrapbook and your scrapbooker will be happy.

Crop-a-dile. ($26) This is my latest exciting tool. It really does live up to all of the hype that I had heard about it. You can punch holes and set eyelets through almost anything. For more information on this, you can read my review of this product.

Idea Books ($19.99 each) Idea books always make a great gift. Here are a few of my most favorite books from the past year. They are full of ideas and inspiration that will keep any scrapbooker full of ideas for many hours of creating.

Designers Eye 2 for Scrapbooking with Patterned Paper by Ali Edwards – This is a great book for all levers of scrapbookers. It shows how to arrange photos and patterned paper is a pleasing way. You can check out my review here.

52 scrapbooking Challenges by Elsie Flannigan – This is a great book for more advanced scrapbookers looking to step up their scrapbooking skills. Loads of fun and creative ideas that are exciting to apply to your own layouts.

Creative Sketches by Becky Higgins – I think this is a classic idea book that all scrapbookers should have. It included sketches and sample layouts that make putting together a page easy.

The Big Picture by Stacy Julian – This is my current all-time favorite scrapbooking idea book. I love the scrapbooking philosophy that is shared in this book. It really helps the reader let go of guilt and return to the joy of scrapbooking.

Tonic Paper Trimmer ($40-$50) I cannot say enough about this trimmer. It is perfect for any scrapbooker that has been on a long search for a trimmer that you actually really like to use. If you want to learn more about this trimmer, you can read my review of this product.

Whatever you decided to give, I’m sure that it will be appreciated.
