Welcome to another edition of homeschooling resource of the day. As always, if you see something you want changed, you have something you would like added, or know of something that should be featured please feel free to leave me a comment.

Today’s website is Wowio. Wowio is a homeschooler’s dream. Hundred of free e-book downloads, with more publishers and books being added often. (Parents, please note that you should supervise your children when visiting this site as it does contain adult content in some areas.)There are so many good books here it’s amazing. There are so many project books from Acient Egypt to civil war and everything in between, there are some great puzzle books, craft books galore. You do have to create an account, which is free, and there are three different ways you can verify your identity.

Word of the day: hubris \HYOO-bruhs\, noun:
Overbearing pride or presumption.

Today’s homeschooling book(s) of the day is What Your … (insert grade here) Needs to Know. This series of books is a great guide for any homeschooler. This is a series from K-6 and not only covers each subject your child should be learning, but divides each subject into different topics.
