Hop Into Easter

Easter is traditionally spent with family and friends, but who says you have to spend the holiday stuck at home? This year several hotels and resorts are offering egg-cellent discounted rates on Easter weekend packages. In addition to luxury accommodations, you and your entire clan can take part in family-friendly Easter activities. Take a look:

NORTH CAROLINA

Pinehurst Resort is known for its pristine golf courses, but during Easter week the property goes all out for families. Holiday activities include a resort-wide scavenger hunt, relay races, bingo, face-painting, family wagon rides, an egg toss, and “Family Fairways” golf clinics. The Easter package starts at $189 per person (kids 12 and under stay and eat for free with an adult) and includes a breakfast buffet, commemorative family photo, Easter dinner and most holiday-related on-site activities.

MICHIGAN

The Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan, is hoping you will hop in to take advantage of their Easter family weekend package. For just $110 per night, you and your group will receive accommodations at the award-winning resort and spa, plus you will get to participate in several Eater-related activities, including an egg-coloring contest, cookie decorating, and an egg hunt. In addition, the price of the package includes access to the resort’s video arcade and indoor water playground featuring a 70-foot long waterslide, water-walk, and water basketball nets. You can also attend a live magic show or catch a family movie.

WISCONSIN

For just $169 per night you can welcome the Easter Bunny in person at the Heidel House Resort and Spa in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The family-friendly lakefront resort offers a quiet retreat for the whole family. When you are not enjoying the resort’s pool, spa, and game room you can partake in the holiday weekend activities, including egg dying, an Easter egg hunt and craft workshops for kids.
