Remember those pumpkin seed scrapbook stickers I had to, had to have last month? I resisted the temptation to splurge on them; however, I still plan to feature them in my Halloween 2010 layout. If all goes according to plan those adorable little stickers will be all mine by November 2nd and I won’t have to dig deep to get them.
After Halloween sale here I come.
Shopping the sale table at my local scrapbook store is just one of the ways I am able to support my addiction to stickers, die cuts and stamps. Other ways I save include:
Know Your Store
If you are an avid scrapper, then you know the benefits that come from being a loyal customer at your local scrapbook supply store. The shop I frequent offers a Rewards Club, which provides great money-saving offers to regular customers. The shop also publishes a monthly newsletter, which advertises new releases, sales and other special promotions. Bargain scrappers can always score a few super savings by signing up for the newsletter. In addition to the Rewards Club and newsletter, my local scrapbook supply shop also hands out punch cards, so regular customers can qualify for free merchandise after spending a certain dollar amount on qualifying merchandise.
Coupons
If you prefer shopping at larger craft stores for your scrapbooking supplies, then inquire about in-store coupons. Places, such as Hobby Lobby and Michaels constantly offer money-saving coupons on scrapbook materials. In some cases you can find the coupons in Sunday’s newspaper, though I prefer to go online to look for coupons. Hobby Lobby is very good about updating its website to display the most current coupons. In some cases you can re-use the coupons up until a certain date. Be sure to read the coupon’s fine print to learn how you can make the most of your sales voucher.
