How to Shop at the Goodwill Outlet Store 2

You can really get amazing bargains at a Goodwill Outlet store. Regular Goodwill stores can be a bit expensive for used (or new) items. But the Goodwill Outlet store is an exception. Imagine getting new designer clothing for 75 cents, household goods for 10 cents or large ride on toys for a dollar.

Previously, I started listing some tips for finding and shopping at a Goodwill Outlet store. Now let’s continue.

When shopping at a Goodwill Outlet store, make sure to allow for plenty of time to go through the bins. It can take quite a bit of sorting to find what you want, but I think the time is worth it, because you always wind up with a couple of treasures. If you start to get tired of sorting, just take a little break to walk around the room and see what you might have missed, or just call it a day and end your visit with what you have already found.

Being social while shopping at the Goodwill can have its benefits. Either bring alone a friend or strike up a conversation with someone who is shopping nearby. This way you can share what you are exactly looking for and have another pair of eyes to help you, while you can help someone else. You have to sort through the bins anyway, so why not pull out something that the other person could use? Plus the conversation could help pass the time sorting.

Don’t skip the cart when you shop at the Goodwill Outlet store. it is hard to sort through bins when you already have items in your hand. Plus, since the prices are so low, you may find yourself buying more than you anticipated. Just $10 at the Goodwill Outlet store can purchase a huge trash bag full of clothing.
