In Love with My New iPhone

Love My New iPhone

I have written about how much I disliked my last phone. I have tweeted it and I have Facebooked about it. Yes, I was a bit obsessed with how much I disliked my Vortex (Android). It was not until I already made the purchase that I read a review where the writer said he would like to run over the phone a few times. I thought that was a pretty harsh sentiment. However, in time, I understood that sentiment all too well. I even caught myself wishing a plague upon the store that sold me the phone. Yet, it was not completely the salesperson fault. I did say I wanted a basic phone and they showed me an entry level smartphone. Entry level? I think my teenager deserves a better phone. Yet, at the time and for the next few weeks I loved my phone. It was an upgrade from my previous phone which was not a smartphone. Then the day came that I realized I was being duped. I was paying the same monthly fee as someone with a smartphone with brains. Thankfully, my time with that phone ended and I had the chance to pick a better phone.

I had researched a few phones and it came down to the Razor or the iPhone. The Razor is the latest craze so I had to take a look. While it looked amazing, I had wanted an iPhone for quite sometime and had no love for the Android operating system. So, I walked out content with an iPhone. By the time I got home I was smitten. After a few days I knew if the phone were a man I would marry him. On the spot. Even at a drive-thru wedding in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator.

My iPhone allows me get work done when I am not chained to my desk. I can type up articles in Evernote, blog through the Blogger apt, take pictures that directly go to Facebook and Flickr through Instagram, and set reminders and lists up on Wunderlist. I feel like a kid at the candy store! I can update my Facebook on my personal and my blog’s page. My last phone would never connect to Facebook and when it did the quality was terrible.

You may not choose an iPhone but I highly recommend a good smartphone to take your business with you. It is important to stay in constant contact with your clients and business while maintaining a life and not lugging around a laptop. A good smartphone is a great way to conveniently get a little work done while living your life. While my daughter took her reading test I was able to get so much work done with just a little device. Next on my list…an iPad.
