Prime Healthcare Services Investigated for Controversial Billing
The hospital chain is under investigation because they are accused of submitting false claims to Medicare and Medi-Cal, of “upbilling”, and of not releasing stabilized patients to hospitals that are within the patient’s health insurance network.

The Insurance Podcast Roundup went up on February 27, 2012. I would recommend checking out a video by CNN where Dr. Sanjay Gupta talks about how Medicare is covering yoga as part of a treatment for heart disease.

Washington May Require Insurers to Cover Abortion
A bill called HB 2330 passed the state of Washington House of Representatives. If the Senate also passes it, it would become a law that required all health insurance plans to cover abortion.
