Kim Kardashian Is Single Again and Madame Tussauds Hits Hollywood

It seems like I just remember reading Kim Kardashian say that she and Reggie Smith were headed for the alter, but in their own time. I should have known they were going to break up because a statement like that always seems like the kiss of death for a celebrity relationship.

Kim announced today that she and Reggie, a running back for the New Orleans Saints, were parting ways after two years of dating. What went wrong with the romance? We may never know for sure, but friends say the two were separated by their careers. Reggie is set to start football camp this week while Kim will start filming the latest season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Kim had been seen house hunting just days before the split and told PEOPLE “I’ve always wanted to buy a big house myself and…it is time for me to move. I wish my sisters could move in with me.” She also said, “I don’t think I would ever live with someone unless I’m engaged.” I wonder if the lack of engagement from Reggie caused the breakup?

Madame Tussauds is known for wax celebrities and the newest crop just moved into a new location – Hollywood! A three story wax museum opened on Hollywood Boulevard this week right next to the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. The $55 million dollar museum features 115 wax figurines of celebrities such as Charlton Heston, Whoopi Goldberg, and Tiger Woods, but this isn’t just any old wax museum. You can interact with the figurines. You can bike next to Lance Armstrong or wait on a bench with Tom Hanks (like Forrest Gump) among other things.

In case you were wondering, only one person has ever refused to be cast in wax for Madame Tussauds. That was Mother Teresa, who said she found it flattering, but was not a celebrity.
