LilyandMarshallSellTheirStuff.com

neil harris If you are a fan of Monday night television, then you may already know about the website LilyandMarshallSellTheirStuff.com. Of course, with everyone and her mother trying to go there, you just might not get on it any time soon. So, let me tell you what this very popular website it all about.

Last night, on the television show, How I Met Your Mother, two of the characters, namely Lily and Marshall, talk about their floor fixing estimate. The estimate is higher than they expected, and to raise the money, Marshall has set up a website to sell Lily’s stuff. Lily doesn’t want to sell her clothing, but she does agree to sell some paintings, and the path one painting takes is pretty funny.

If you want to learn more about the episode, hop over to the Media Blog and ask a blogger there. The thing that I am concerned about over here is the website that the characters Lily and Marshall use for their stuff. It, in fact, really does exist. You can purchase Lily and Marshall’s stuff, literally. The website is actually being presented by CharityFolks.com, and all of the proceeds benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. So, if you want to blur the line between your favorite characters on How I Met Your Mother and reality, here is your chance. Unfortunately, the folks over at CharityFolks.com can’t quite keep up with the traffic. It surprises me that they weren’t prepared for all of the interest. But then again, perhaps they just couldn’t be.

Another website that was mentioned in the episode is http://guyforceshiswifetodressinagarbagebagforthenextthreeyears.com/. This, believe it or not, is an actual website. I had no problem getting on the first time, so either the producers are either used to high traffic, or are being ignored by the fans. At this website, there are smiling photos of a couple in all sorts of settings. They look like any other photolog with the exception that the female, presumably the wife, is wearing a garbage bag in each shot.

Quick, somebody help me. I’m getting flashbacks of the dancing baby in Ally McBeal.
