Love is in the Air

Valentine’s Day is a popular holiday for beginner and avid scrapbook fans. With so many love-themed embellishments on the market, it’s almost impossible not to get caught up in the excitement of crafting a heartfelt tribute to a special someone in a single or double page layout.

Whether you are designing a few pages or devoting an entire scrapbook to document your Valentine’s Day activities, you can’t go wrong by including some special love-related quotes. Famous phrases or sayings that focus on love are ideal for scrapbookers who struggle to express their own feelings in journaling blocks. Rather than racking your brain to come up with words that mirror how you really feel about your sweetheart, consider employing the following famous quotes that have been used for decades to communicate the magic of L-O-V-E:

“The hours I spend with you I look upon as sort of a perfumed garden, a dim twilight, and a fountain singing to it. You and you alone make me feel that I am alive.”–George Moore

“We loved with a love that was more than love.”–Edgar Allan Poe

“You know you’re in love when you don’t want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”–Dr. Seuss

“The moment my eyes fell on him, I was content.”–Edith Wharton

“Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”–Unknown

“There is no difference between a wise man and a fool when they fall in love.”–Unknown

“Love is a friendship set to music.”–E. Joseph Cossman

“Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love.”– Charles M. Schulz

“For thy sweet love remember’d such wealth brings,That then I scorn to change my state with kings.”–William Shakespeare
