More Ideas for Easter Layouts

My all-time favorite Easter-themed scrapbook layout features a timeline of my young daughter’s encounters with the Easter Bunny. Typically, these meet and greets take place at the mall, though I have a few photos of her in recent years trying to hit up the Bunny for chocolate at outdoor Easter egg hunts sponsored by the city or our local zoo.

This year I will keep the tradition going by snapping her in the park with Peter Cottontail and adding the photos to the layout. There are a variety of ways you can make a page design like this work, though to achieve the most dramatic effect it helps to have everything in the background exactly the same from picture to picture. For example, if you take your child to the mall each Easter to get a photo of him posing with the Easter Bunny, make sure he is standing or sitting on the same side as he has in past years. This will enable you to create an eye-popping layout that chronicles your child’s Bunny visits.

If you are worried that the Bunny photos are a bit blah for a layout, then spice up the page with colorful Easter-themed scrapbook paper. Zazzle offers neon-bright psychedelic paper in greens, pinks, yellows, and blues. Another option is to choose scrapbook paper with holiday-themed quotes and phrases. Joyful Expressions incorporates Christian themed sayings on pastel paper. Personally, I adore Best Creation, which features glitter scrapbook paper in a rainbow of colors. Another of my favorite scrapbook supply companies is Paper House Productions. It carries a complete line of adorable Easter-themed paper accented with jelly beans, chocolate Easter Bunnies, baskets, flowers and decorated eggs.

Whimsical paper can set the stage for an incredible Easter layout regardless of whether or not your child is hugging a bunny. If your kid freaks out at the sight of a towering Easter Bunny hopping over to hand him an egg, then stick with scrapping photos of him coloring eggs or stuffing his face with Easter candy instead.
