More Ways to Save with Digital Scrapbooking

I wonder how long it will take before traditional scrapping becomes a thing of the past? It seems every scrapper and her sister is converting to digital scrapbooking. The Internet is crammed with thousands of sites that make scrapping online a cheap and easy hobby.

Today I visited more than a dozens random digital scrapbooking sites and found that every single one offered some type of scrapbook item for free, from page kits to embellishments. They are yours for the taking—free of charge—provided you know how to download them.

The sites are even trying to win over die hard traditionalists. For example, if you absolutely refuse to embrace change by creating digital pages, you can still take advantage of the free goodies by printing them and using them in your hard copy memory book.

If you are looking for free clip art, then consider visiting the following digital scrapbooking websites: Free Graphics, Free Clip Images, Royalty Free Clip Art or Clip Art Connection. If you are more interested in obtaining funky fonts for free, then head to Scrap Village, 1001 Free Fonts or Scrap Girls. Da Font is also another great option if you are looking to save on fonts that will add pizzazz to your layout. The aforementioned sites allow you to download the embellishments for free, though you might run into a pop-up survey when you visit a particular site.

I have a list of digital scrapbooking websites that I visit on a regular basis. I keep the checklist in my organizer and I go through it about once a week to see what if any new scrapbook goodies are being offered for free. Some of my favorite sites include: Shabby Princess, Digital Scrapbook Place, Designer Digitals, Digital Design Essentials, Cottage Arts, and Scrapbook Bytes.

What are your favorite digital scrapbook websites?
