My Two Favorite Instructional Resource Companies

In addition to markers, papers, pencils, glues, and scissors, teachers also need decorative and instructional materials. I use many charts, posters, and signs in my classroom. Some of them are just for decoration and others serve a teaching purpose.

In a previous article, I discussed two companies that offer office teaching supplies and art supplies. These two companies do not offer a variety when it comes to classroom decoration and teaching resources. Therefore, it is necessary to look to other companies.

The two companies that I have had the most success with when it comes to instruction resources are Creative Teaching Press and Really Good Stuff. As I noted in my previous article, I am sure that many companies exist that I have not tried. However, these two companies have always had a good selection of what I need. Both companies accept Purchase Orders from schools and have always had timely shipping.

Creative Teaching Press
Creative Teaching Press offers both decorative materials and instructional resources. The bulk of what I have purchased from this company has been decorative. They offer very cute designs. I personally love the stick children series. I have the alphabet letters by them. They also offer many teaching posters and write and wipe off designs. They have instructional books and lesson plan ideas. They focus on literacy and reading resources.

Really Good Stuff
I have used Really Good Stuff for several years. Really Good Stuff offers decorative items but not in a great variety. I have purchased many posters and instructional signs from this company. They offer posters on listening, class pledges, and more. They also have instructional resources and focus on literacy and reading. The company offers reading records and notebooks. They have student journals and writing helpers. The company offers student readers and more.
