New Scrapbooking Products: Basic Grey

It is always fun for me to see what new items companies come out with for us to use on our scrapbooks. Since I really do spend a lot of time scrapbooking, I end up using up a lot of supplies. So I am always on the lookout for something new to replenish to my stash of goodies. Of course Basic Grey did not disappoint with their newest releases at CHA. Here is the information of their newest products.

Patterned Paper
Basic Grey has always inspired me with their interesting and fresh designs of patterned paper. They have 2 new lines this summer: Gypsy and LilyKate. Both lines are fun of rich detail.

The Gypsy line is made up of bold, bright colors such as orange, pink, turquoise, green and red. Each page has it’s own unique look. The patterns are all very different from each other, but since they use the same color palate, you can easily mix and match the paper.

The LilyKate line is full of soft colors that are very soothing. Soft pinks, greens, blues and yellows are used in these papers. These are very pretty and feminine designs.

Each of the paper lines also has coordinating letter stickers, tags, ribbon, fibers, matchbook kits and monograms.

Rub-ons
Basic Grey recently introduced a beautiful line on rub-ons that are full of rich detail and they have now added six more designs to their collection. These are full of swirling lines, flowers and vines. This could be a fun addition to a variety of scrapbook pages.

Magnets
They have really become inventive with incorporating magnets in to their products. They have three new magnetic products to offer this summer.

First are the magnetic snaps. Each snap has two pieces that simply snap together and are magnets. This opens up many possibilities for fun ways to close journals and makes layout and cards interactive.

Magnetic Tie Backs are also two pieces (one the positive and one piece the negative of the magnet.) You can attach the small negative piece underneath your cardstock and them use the decorative Tie Back to hold piece of you project to the page.

Magnetic Buckles are two pieced buckles that snap together. These would make creative closures for mini albums or hidden journaling blocks on your page.

Chipboard

A wonderful addition to all of their chipboard is that it is now adhesive-backed! They now offer their well known monogram font in a smaller size. They also offer chipboard numbers and a new block style font. There is also an elements set that includes punctuation, tabs, flowers and more.

Lots of new fun coming from Basic Grey. Check out their website for pictures of each of the new products and beautiful ideas in the gallery demonstrating how you can use all of their products.
