Online Scrapbooking: Smilebox

I recently wrote about online scrapbooking and how you can create these great scrapbooks that can be shared with family and friends all over the world. That is definitely one huge plus to online scrapbooking.

I recently ran across another online scrapbooking website, Smilebox.com. It definitely puts a smile on my face because it is so easy to use. I am all about fast and easy when it comes to scrapbooking. Lately I just haven’t been able to tackle the albums that I would like to.

With Smilebox you can not only create a scrapbook album but you can also create slideshows, greetings, invitations and collages. In a matter of minutes you can have a treasured keepsake. Best of all, it is free.

It offers hundreds of designs to choose from and is quite versatile. You can add not only pictures but videos, words and music. It really spruces up your creations. When you are done you can email it, print it or burn it to a DVD.

This is a great option for those of us who just find that the season of life they are in doesn’t allow time for scrapbooking.

Now you might be wondering how you can benefit from online scrapbooking when your photos aren’t on your computer or a DVD. You may just have piles and piles of pictures so digital scrapbooking won’t work for you.

If you have a scanner, however, you can easily scan your pictures to your computer. This is also a great opportunity to sort through your pictures and pick out the ones that you really want to use.

Best of all, what I love about having a scanner is that I can scan pictures from when I was a child, long before digital cameras were even dreamt of. I can preserve pictures from my childhood that otherwise will just continue to yellow in its album.

Try Smilebox…it will make you smile.
