Plan Your Christmas Scrapbook Now

I know of one person who has already started to play some of their Christmas music. To me, this is much too early to think about Christmas. Besides, I like to take one holiday at a time. Let me first enjoy Thanksgiving and then give it at least a day to put it behind me before I think about Christmas.

As much as I would like to do that, I really can’t help but think of Christmas because it is already time to start getting lists together for the grandparents. I would also like to get a head start on shopping anyway. So Christmas is on my mind whether I want it to be or not.

Since I am already thinking…and talking…about Christmas, what about starting to plan a Christmas scrapbook? I always think of doing a scrapbook after an event or holiday has taken place. But why not plan ahead?

The days following Christmas are kind of low key and so it would be the perfect opportunity to do some scrapbooking. Yet if I have everything I need ahead of time, all I would have to do is pull it out.

It is a very busy time of year. Already preparations are starting for Thanksgiving. Who is having dinner where, what the menu should be and who should be invited. You may also be thinking about your annual Christmas baking session or getting your Christmas cards out early this year.

There are probably already a lot of things on your mind so scrapbooking may be last on your list. But how about before things get really crazy, you put it to the front of your list? Get out there and collect everything you will need to put together a Christmas scrapbook. Put it away in a box. Then get on with the holidays and after they have ended, all you have to do is pull out your box.

Planning ahead is always a good idea and this way you will be set, free to relish in the memories of Christmas and immediately begin working on your album. So who is up for some scrapbook shopping?
