Planning a Frugal Girl’s Night Out This Weekend

Every adult needs a night out now and again, and a girl’s night out is the perfect solution. However, having a night together out on the town can get costly and is certainly not very friendly to those that are on a budget. How would you like to have a fantastic girls night, without spending a lot? Here are a few tips:

Ladies Night – If you absolutely must go “out on the town” look for bars, clubs and other venues that offer a ladies night. These places typically will have no added cost to get in and the drinks and entertainment aren’t compromised. Plus the drinks are usually lower in price, and maybe you can get a nice gentleman to purchase one. Of course you should definitely avoid that if you are married.

Slumber Party – Who said grown ups can’t spend the night at a friends house? Grab a bottle of wine, invite a few friends and dance the night away in your own living room with a stereo set to tunes from your childhood. Or get cozy and have a bunch of fun games to play. Spending time with friends is what matters here.

Spa Time – Most gals would love to get together with a girlfriend or two and go have a nice day at the spa. But face it, spas are expensive. Host one at your own house. Share nail polishes, give manicures and pedicures, give each other facials and have some fun with hairstyles. There are so many cheap ways you can do this, and its loads of fun!

Craft Fun – For me it’s scrapbooking, but it doesn’t have to be for you. It could be any crafty project. Perhaps you are wanting to paint the walls in one of your rooms, or maybe you sew or knit instead of scrapbook. Whatever crafty project you are focused on, invite some girlfriends over and indulge a little. Be sure and provide plenty of chocolate, have everyone bring a snack and share lots of fun stories while you are working.

Do you have any fun, yet frugal ideas for a girl’s night out?
