Preschool Game: Feed the Woozle

Game: Feed the Woozle

By: Peaceable Kingdom

Ages: 3 to 6

Type: Cooperative

Game Synopsis:

Feed the Woozle is a fun cooperative game that focuses on developmental skills of children in an active, exciting game. The object of the game is for all players together to “feed” the Woozle 12 silly snacks. Players roll a die and then place the indicated number of snacks on a spoon. Then they spin the spinner that directs them to walk to the Woozle performing a gross motor movement like Bunny Hop or Walk Backwards. It’s not a cake walk to keep those snacks from sliding off the spoon while making your way across the room. If everyone together can feed the Woozle 12 snacks, then everyone wins!

My Thoughts:

It is no secret that I love Peaceable Kingdom. I love the creative ideas, the bright colors, and the fun games they produce. The games are cooperative which means your children get a chance to work together for a common goal. That is an important skill in today’s world. Combining this valuable lesson with fun, movement and a Woozle will make your children giggle. The game my look like a board game but it requires movement which makes it fun for little ones with cabin fever this winter.

I have a three and six year old who played the game. They loved it and played it over and over again. The game can be played on different levels for different ages and challenges. You can easily put each child on a different level during the game while still running the game smoothly. The levels made the game more interesting for my 6 year old and more challenging for my 3 year old. Their favorite part was using the spinner to find out how they would be walking to the Woozle to feed him. The Hula Dance option caused the most laughter. The game is different, active, and fun!
