Quickutz Winter CHA 2006 Releases!

Quickutz came out with some innovative and exciting new products for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Trade Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. Until now, Quickutz has only offered hand tools and dies to create your own dies cuts are home. They are now introducing new ways to expand the use of their products.

Icing RubOns is a creative way to embellish your die cuts. It is basically rub-ons that have been sized to fit exactly onto your Quickutz dies. You can purchase a starter kit that includes an exclusive die (with 5 shapes on it), four rub-on sheets (each a different color) and a burnishing tool to use to rub the images onto your die. The starter set retails for $29.99.

The Icing RubOns are also available in four other styles that coordinate with Quickutz dies. The dies that they coordinate with are hearts, tags, flowers and the Love Theme Kit. They retail for $9.99 for fours sheets of rub-ons in four different colors (licorice, vanilla, cherry and chocolate.)

Another exciting release was the QuickStampz kit. This allows you to use your dies to punch from stamping foam that is included in the kit and create stamps from your dies! This is a wonderful way to add versatility to the dies. The kit includes one exclusive die shape, one embossing die, several sheets of the stamping foam and the acrylic blocks that you use to mount the die cuts. The kit retails for $39.99. You can also purchase additional twelve stamping foam strips for $6.99. The stamping foam is washable to allow multiple uses. This will be released at the end of March 2006.

They also introduced a new font named Calvin. It is a mini font, which means that it is 5/8 inches tall. It comes with all of the uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation in one set for $149.99.
