Sunday, January 14, 2007 we met Joanna Slan, in Meet Joanna Campbell Slan – The Journaling Expert. This brief glimpse into this journaling guru’s life, essentially explains what her experience is, and what her books are about. If you are interested in journaling in even the slightest bit, Joanna’s books are for you!
On Monday, January 15, 2007 the question was posed, “Is Scraplifting Really Alright?”. This article took a spin all over the Internet and I saw many bloggers discussing their feelings on this same topic.
On Tuesday, January 16, 2007 it became obvious that there was a theme for the week, or so it seemed. With Journey to Better Journaling, we took a look at a few ways we can improve our journaling. A practical tip at the bottom explains what you might do if you are faced with writer’s block. A nice summary of journaling articles was offered in Journaling Advice: A Families.com Guide to 2006 Journaling Articles. A link to the best articles on journaling here at families.com was offered.
On Thursday, January 18, 2007 Using Valentine Products In New Ways gave us some excellent ideas on using these once a year items on everyday pages. From a Things You Love layout to a wedding layout, ideas are abundant in this article.
Giving us a great start to the weekend, on Friday, January 19, 2007 in Favorite Scrapbook Supplies, Lisa shares her very favorites that she cannot possibly scrapbook without. We all have a few items we just have to have for creating a layout, and Lisa’s list is probably a lot like many other scrapbookers.
Wrapping up the week, on Sunday, January 21, 2007 Scrapbooking In The Valentine’s Day Aisle, provided some excellent resources for non-scrapbook related supplies. Just because it isn’t originally intended for your layout or scrapbook, does not mean that it cannot be used.
