So You Want To Work From Home

Choosing to work from home can be a hard decision to make. Before quitting your job, be sure you understand all it takes to work from home. I’ve tried many work from home jobs only to find some were scams, some brought in little money, and others cost more than they were worth. Doing research into any online job you are considering is well worth the time and effort.

When I was first starting out, I had no clue what I wanted to do, or how I could make money online. So the first thing I did was search for work at home forums. Talking with other work at home Mom’s can provide you with your best leads. Many work at home forums will have a thread about scams and which job offers to avoid. Some of the best advice you can get is to avoid work at home job leads that ask for a fee. Yes, some may be legit but you can talk to others who work from home before applying. I received the best leads from other work at home Moms though this doesn’t mean you should take everything as legitimate advice. Once you have a few leads, do some research. Check with the Better Business Bureau to make sure there aren’t any complaints. At times a few over zealous Mom’s will post a lead because they’ve been hired. Ask them if they’ve received payment.

Some assembly jobs require you to pay for supplies. You may hear this is a good lead because others have been paid for their work. But are you sure you can assemble products to their standards? How many products must you return in order to receive payment? And be aware that sometimes these companies start out paying to lure you in and then they disappear with fees paid.

Before choosing a work at home job, do your investigating. There are more scams out there than legitimate work at home jobs. I’m hoping to help you find some of those legit jobs. There are many options out there, it’s only a matter of applying for the jobs available and researching them to make sure they are legit.
