The Parent’s Journal has an episode that was released on June 18, 2012. This episode is called “John Kemp”. The topic of this one is “Play and Friendship for Children with Disabilities”. It features John Kemp, author of the book “Reflections from a Different Journey”.

The Coffee Klatch has an episode that was released on June 17, 2012. This episode is called “The Best of Coffee Klatch – Dr. Ross Greene – Explosive Child”. This episode features Dr. Ross Greene, the author who wrote “The Explosive Child”. His second book is called “Lost At School”. It shows how to use care, and Collaborative Problem Solving, to teach parents, educators, and the child or teen themselves, how to resolve issues and succeed.

Need Project released a new episode on June 14, 2012. This episode is called “Sensory Processing Disorder with Dr. Sarah Schoen”. The episode features Dr. Sarah Schoen, who is the Associate Director of the Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation. She talks about the work of her foundation, and how they help families who are dealing with Sensory Processing Disorder.

PBS NewsHour released an episode on June 6, 2012. This episode is called “Study: Standard Treatment Ineffective for Kids With Obesity-Linked Diabetes”. PBS NewsHour Health Correspondent Betty Ann Bowser reports about a study led by Dr. Phillip Zeitler, who is from the University of Colorado. The study found that the drugs that have been used to treat early stages of type 2 diabetes are not working very well for children.

Hope Saves the Day eleased a new episode on June 18, 2012. This is episode number 122, and it is called “Discussing Therapy’s”. In this episode, the hosts of the show talk about some bizarre treatments for autism.

The Inclusive Class released an episode on June 15, 2012. This episode is called “The Art of Successfully Including Students with Autism”. Hosts Nicole Eredics and Terri Mauro interview guest Dr. Kristin M. Kosmerl. Dr. Kosmerl works as a Special Educational Consultant and Board Certified Behavioral Analyst for a public school in Pennsylvania. They talk about ways that students who have autism can be successfully included into a general education classroom.
