It’s time to make your plan of attack for Black Friday. Several stores have released information about when they will open their doors and what some of their big deals will be. Here’s what I’ve been able to discover so far. Use this information to help plan out where you will go to first on Black Friday.
Staples is opening it’s doors at 5:00 in the morning on Friday, November 23, 2012. Their Early Bird Specials will last until noon (or while supplies last).
Walmart will start it’s Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving Day, and will open its doors at 8:00 in the evening.
They will allow shoppers to line up inside the Walmart store between 10:00 at night and 11:00 at night on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Walmart is guaranteeing shoppers that Walmart will have three of the most popular items available to the people who are in the line during that particular hour. The items are:
Apple iPad2 with Wi-Fi for $399 plus a $74 gift card
Emerson 32 inch LCD TV for $148
LG Blu-ray Disc player for $38
If the Walmart runs out of those three hot items, people who were in the line will be issued a guarantee card for the items. That card must be paid for before midnight and registered online. Doing so will result in having the product shipped to that Walmart store before December 25, 2012 (where the shopper can go pick it up).
Kmart will open its doors at 6:00 in the morning on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012. From there, things get confusing.
Open – 6:00 in the morning through 4:00 in the afternoon November 22, 2012
Closed – 4:00 in the afternoon through 8:00 in the evening November 22, 2012
Open – 8:00 in the evening November 22, 2012 through 3:00 in the morning November 23, 2012
Closed – 3:00 in the morning through 5:00 in the evening November 23, 2012
Open- 5:00 in the evening through 11:00 at night on November 23, 2012.
Target will open its doors at 9:00 at night on Thanksgiving, November 22, 2012. It will have several special sales that last for certain hours (or while supplies last).
Best Target Black Friday Toy, video games, and electronics Event – starts 9:00 at night on November 22, 2012 (while supplies last).
Best Target Black Friday Toy, video games, and electronics Event – starts at 4:00 in the morning on November 22, 2012 (while supplies last).
Gift Card Deal – Get a gift card for purchases made between 4:00 in the morning and noon on Friday, November 23, 2012.
