You know, keeping this blog is good for me. It’s forcing me to reconnect with myself.
One thing I’ve always preached is follow your passion! If you don’t love what you are doing, you won’t have the energy or motivation to do it! Life starts with passion. You need passion to maintain it!
What do I love to do? I love people and my family! I love helping others, writing, and accomplishing things. There is something about that feeling of hitting a goal or knowing you did something good for others that is reenergizing.
It’s funny, I did not have any “real” goals for the last 6 months. Though my toy business maintained itself, I always had a “minimum goal” in my mind for what needed to be done and hit that every month. I never reached, though.
Remember, you get what you focus on. There is a quote I love:

For 2007, I’m going to reach to both learn and achieve something new! My family will always be my priority, but it is time for me to use my full potential and stop using “being a mom” as an excuse.
I’m going to take that fear of failure I’ve developed and redirect it to a fear of not trying. I always tell my children they will never know if they do not do. This is such an important attitude to being successful in your work from home business.
If you don’t call that business, you will never know if they are interested in what you have to offer for baby baskets. The answer will automatically be “no” if you do not try. At least give yourself a chance.
