Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos
There is exciting news from Veggie Tales! They have released a new DVD, called The League of Incredible Vegetables. The theme is handling fear and who can handle that topic better than Thingamabob (Bob the Tomato), LarryBoy (Larry the Cucumber), and the rest of the gang? The DVD includes a new silly song called Super Hero and a music video by the Newsboys. If you are a Veggie Tales fan or if you never watched an episode this is the place to start.

I have been a fan of Veggie Tales for over a decade. My first child loved Bob and Larry and thus the stage was set and years of Veggie Tales have been enjoyed three more kids later by the whole family. Each time a new episode or movie comes out we rush to see it and we are never disappointed. The latest is no exception.

Summary of The League if Incredible Vegetables:

It was a bright and sunny day in Bumblyburg…until Dr. Flurry came to town! This chillin’ villain wants to freeze the entire city….in fear! This job is too big for LarryBoy to handle alone, so he turns to “The League of Incredible Vegetables” for help! Thingamabob (Bob the Tomato), S-Cape (Mr. Lunt), Vogue (Petunia Rhubarb) and Ricochet (Junior Asparagus) are up for the task, but find that their own fears make them vulnerable to Dr. Flurry’s icy grip! Will they remember to turn to the One who is bigger than all their fears – before the whole town ends up on ice? Find out in this super-heroic new VeggieTales episode with a lesson in handling fear!

Our Thoughts:

My two older children enjoyed seeing old friends still in the business of teaching about God and moral character in funny ways. My two younger children laughed and cheered as the Veggies learned to lean on God and not succumb to fear. The episode was funny, clever, and taught important lessons handling fear. All the characters were adorable as usual. It is sure to become the next classic!
