The Marriage Blog Week in Review for April 28 – May 4

Lyn and I were joined by a familiar face last week, a former regular Marriage Blog contributor: Heather Long. Between the three of us we had a fair amount to say. In case you missed any of it, here’s your handy Week in Review!

Monday, April 28

I suggested ways to recession proof your marriage with dinner. (And hopefully enhance it in the process.)

Lyn addressed the problem of spending too much time online. (A problem both husbands and wives are guilty of.)

Tuesday, April 29

Lyn contemplated the song “love me or let me go” and how it applies to men who don’t love their wives or treat them right, but who also resist letting their wives go to find love elsewhere.

Wednesday, April 30

Wedding cancellations and break-ups can be messy and difficult, but Lyn gave some great advice for how to deal with them.

But Lyn wasn’t done giving excellent advice. She explained how if you don’t sweat the small stuff in your marriage you’ll find more happiness.

Thursday, May 1

I had some exciting news to share: the Families.com Marriage Blog made a Top 100 list!

I discussed poll results compiled about the habits of fantasizing wives.

Friday, May 2

In Marriage Breakers – Part 1, Heather shared a story about a friend who is sure her new boyfriend plans to propose. However, Heather, being a good friend, presented a list of questions her friend may want to ask her potential husband-to-be so they can start out on the same page.

Saturday, May 3

Lyn proposed different worst-case scenarios and wondered how much support your mate would be for you.

Heather’s blog inspired Lyn to share some excellent advice for young or newly married women about how to start out right when it comes to sharing homecaring duties.

Sunday, May 4

I found wisdom and truth in a song from the movie Enchanted about making sure to tell her (or him) that you love him (or her).

Lyn discussed the material effects on marriage.

Have you ever considered the the danger in not turning in at the same time? I recently had occasion to reflect on that.
