The Pets Blog Week in Review for July 14-20

With summer’s pleasures beckoning, you may not have a lot of time to keep up on the Pets Blog these days. That’s okay. Here’s your handy Week in Review to quickly break down what Aimee and I wrote on:

Monday, July 14

Aimee examined the issue of canine office etiquette when you bring your dog to work.

I put on my dancing shoes and interviewed Beth Terrell about her dancing puppy, Luca.

Tuesday, July 15

In an article that ruffled my feathers, Aimee explained how her dog is better than most humans. (Aimee didn’t ruffle me, but what she wrote about what happened to her did.)

We’ve got some new neighbors with outdoor pets who haven’t exactly made the best impression possible.

Wednesday, July 16

I joked around with author and “bagel” owner Jeff Cohen.

Sometimes I feel Murphy’s not living up to his full potential. I wondered if any of you ever felt the same about your dog.

Thursday, July 17

What do you get when you have two dogs with diarrhea and vomiting? Two upset tummies and one upset Aimee. (And “pudding butt.” You have to read her article to understand that reference. I happened to fall in love with that euphemism.)

Friday, July 18

In another “Diary of a Cat Care B&B” installment, Aimee declared that she is not a scratching post (but she plays one on TV). (Aimee always has a knack for great titles, but I do believe this is one of my new favorites.)

Saturday, July 19

Before reading this article I thought Aimee had developed homemade dog food recipes because of money reasons. Nope. It all started with the upset bellies and has developed into a pet food project apparently.

She doesn’t have cats, yet she works at a cat care B&B. Ever wonder how that happened? Aimee answers all when she explains why she’s working there anyway.
